Transitioning to Online Learning
Updated 14 January 2021
On Tuesday 12 January, the Dutch Government extended the current lockdown until at least 9 February 2021.
There is now a tentative reopening date only for primary schools on 25 January, if considered safe. At the moment research into the British variant of the virus is being conducted in medical centres and several municipalities in the country. Part of that research is looking specifically into the role of children in the spread of the virus. The date of re-opening the schools will partly depend on the outcome of that research as well.
Until further notice, ISD will continue with the online learning programme and activities.
