Personal, Social and Physical Education (PSPE)

At ISD Primary Years Programme we believe that all members of staff take responsibility for the delivery of our PSPE curriculum. The physical education (PE) aspect of the curriculum is taught by a physical education teacher, who works part-time in the school. The personal and social education of all our students is the responsibility of all members of staff and is explicitly taught using the learner profile and the restorative practices approach.

PYP students have PE twice a week.  Students from Group 0, 1 and 2 have PE in the playroom at Jaffalaan on Mondays and Wednesdays. Students from Group 3 to 8 have PE on Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays in a nearby gym at the TU Delft PE facilities.
