With clear links to art and design industries, ISD intends to carve its own leading position as a focal point for a number of specialized areas.. A partnership with the design industry can support our students in becoming designers, thinkers and innovators; creating novel solutions to complex challenges. The design and problem-solving cycles will be an integral part of the learning pedagogies. The TU link nurtures a STE(A)M focus, lending itself to creating significant career pathways in the academic and professional fields, working fruitfully together to create the next generation of global-minded problem solvers, adding to a science and technological specialism.
