At International School Delft students can select their subject packages from the following choices available: Group 1 Studies in Language and Literature

  • English Language and Literature (SL/HL)
  • Dutch Language and Literature (SL/HL)
  • Other mother-tongue languages as a self-taught course (SL only)

Group 2 Language Acquisition

  • Dutch B (SL/HL)
  • Spanish B (SL/HL)
  • Spanish Ab Initio (SL only)

Group 3 Individuals & societies

  • Business Management (SL/HL)
  • Geography (SL/HL)
  • Psychology (SL/HL)
  • Physics (SL only)

Group 4 Experimental sciences

  • Biology (SL/HL)
  • Chemistry (SL/HL)
  • Physics (SL/HL)
  • Design Technology (SL/HL)

Group 5 Maths

  • Mathematics Analysis and Approaches (SL/HL)
  • Mathematics Applications and Interpretations (SL only)

Group 6 The Arts

  • Visual Arts (SL/HL)

As an alternative to Visual Arts, students can choose one extra subject from group 1 to 4.

The list of subjects offered is reviewed every year – not all subject choice combinations are possible due to timetable restrictions. Some subjects may only be offered as private tuition if there is not enough uptake.
