Student learning support at ISD

At ISD, we are proud to be an inclusive school supporting the diverse needs of the international community in Delft. We provide a safe, supportive environment where every student can grow at their own pace — academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our Student support works with teachers, parents, and specialists to offer tailored support, including:

  • In-class differentiation by teachers
  • Additional support from Student Care staff
  • Pastoral care
  • External specialist services (may involve extra costs)

Support and guidance throughout all programmes

At ISD, student wellbeing and support are central to everyday school life. Teachers and mentors form the first line of care and guidance, closely monitoring students’ academic, social and emotional development. When needed, additional support is provided by the Student Care Department to ensure every student can thrive in a safe and inclusive learning environment.

If a student requires extra support beyond what can be offered at school, ISD follows the procedures of Samenwerkingsverband Passend Onderwijs Delflanden (PPO Delflanden).

Communication with parents and guardians plays an essential role in our approach. Through our digital platforms, we ensure families remain informed, engaged, and involved in their child’s development and school experience.
