We are a Dutch government-funded school and are therefore not open to all students.
For admission in general, students must meet one of the following criteria:
A. The student does not have Dutch nationality (holds a foreign passport), and one of the parents/legal guardians is temporarily employed in the Netherlands.
B. The student has Dutch nationality and has lived and attended school abroad for at least two years because one of the parents/legal guardians was stationed abroad.

In addition to the criteria above, admission to the Diploma Programme (DP) is also open to students who do not fall under categories A–C, including Dutch citizens or long-term foreign residents, provided that:
The student has successfully completed HAVO or VWO 4, and
The student demonstrates sufficient proficiency in English to follow the programme successfully.
For certain groups in our school there indeed might be a waiting list. Those groups that are full will be indicated to you when you are making an application on OpenApply. [If you have multiple children that you would like to enroll, but the group for one of your children is full, please contact us directly].
Our school makes use of OpenApply, which is an online application which takes you step by step through the application process. [You can find the link to begin the application process on our admissions page.]
The registration fee is non-refundable, even if the student is not admitted or if you withdraw from the application process.
While the main language of instruction at our school is English, we do accept children who do not speak it, or who are still learning to speak. We offer extra in school support to these students.
All registration, tuition, and any addition fees are stated in our Standard Terms and Conditions
At ISD, we have age requirements per year group. Of course, there could be exceptions, when a child has doubled a year or comes from the Southern Hemisphere. If you are unsure of the year group for your child, please contact the Admissions Team directly and they will be happy to assist you.
