Who can attend ISD?

ISD offers high-quality English education for international mobile families in the Delft/The Hague area. We welcome students of all nationalities, cultures, and beliefs.


Admission is possible if

  • The student holds a non-Dutch passport and a parent is temporarily working in the Netherlands.
  • Or the student is Dutch and has lived and attended school abroad for at least two years.
  • Or the student is Dutch and will move abroad with a parent within two years.
  • For IB DP only: Dutch student if the student has successfully passed the fourth year of VWO or graduated with a HAVO diploma and can prove that their level of English is adequate to follow education in English.

Inclusion

While ISD is an inclusive school, it is at the same time a mainstream school, offering limited facilities to students with additional needs. Admission to the school is dependent upon the school programme being appropriate to the applicant’s needs, and where the student can access and benefit from the IB curriculum.
