Dear friends of ISD,
Reflecting on my farewell, I realize again that ISD is a community of friendships and partnerships, a community where international-mindedness comes to life and that cares for everyone within it.
Since we started ISD Secondary in 2019, I’ve learned a lot from working for and with wonderful students. With their variety of backgrounds, cultures, capabilities and characters, while supported by great educators, our students are the biggest strength of ISD.
I step down in the confidence that ISD as a whole, will further develop from strength to strength and thus, over time, become a reference school for learning and international education in the Netherlands.
While handing over the leadership of ISD Secondary in the safe hands of Mrs. Minke Veeneklaas, I thank you for your commitment to the school.
And, on a personal note, it’s been a privilege to serve this fabulous school. I will miss it!
