On 13th November we had the Official Opening of the Playground. It was lovely to be able to celebrate the hard work of our Playground Committee who dedicated a great deal of time to involve the whole school in the process of developing ideas, planning and the eventual realisation of the playground.
The Head of School, Mr Sander Raaphorst, gave a speech thanking the Playground Committee and also the landscaping company Heijbers-Verkleij Hoeveniers.
He invited the Playground Committee to cut the ribbon, signifying the opening of the playground.
The playground now has a slide area, sandbox and mud kitchen as well as a nature trail and a ball area.
We are so happy with our new playground!
